Medical Peeling

TCA (Trichloroacetic-acid) can be applied as a softer or medium peel depending on the concentration and the severity and depth of your skin problems. For a medium peel with minimum downtime and maximal result the ZO “3-step-peel” combines 10 % TCA with 6 % retinol.

TCA peels can easily be performed under local anesthesia, regional block anesthesia is performed for minimal discomfort during the peeling procedure. Downtime depends on the peel strength and is somewhere between 6 and 10 days.

More aggressive TCA peels require proper skin preparation using a medical grade skincare protocol tailored to your skin- type and specific skin problems.
